How it works

From your last lease to your next one.

LeaseConfirm Global helps you organize your rental history, prepare your documents, create a shareable rental history record if you choose to, and explore housing in Canada or the United States.

Who it's for

Renters moving to Canada or the United States.

If you have rented before in another country and plan to rent again after you move, LeaseConfirm Global is for you. You can use it from any country, at any stage of your move.

Built first for renters from

  • Nigeria
  • India
  • Ukraine
  • Jamaica
  • Any other country
  • Exploring

Researching a move and what landlords expect.

  • Planning

    Destination chosen, timing taking shape.

  • Preparing to move

    Gathering documents before you leave.

  • Arrived

Applying for rentals in your new city.

The process

Four steps, at your own pace.

The first three are free. The record is optional.

  1. 01

    Create a free profile

Sign up and add where you live now, where you rented before, your destination and when you expect to arrive.

  2. 02

    Record your rental history

Add each lease with its address, dates, rent, currency, payment frequency and landlord details.

  3. 03

    Prepare your documents

Use the checklist to gather leases, receipts and landlord contacts while they are still easy to reach.

  4. 04

    Create your record

When you're ready, choose the tenancies to include and create an International Rental History Record for a one-time US$6.99.

Rental history and documents

Record your rentals the way you actually paid.

Landlords in a new country cannot easily contact your previous landlord. A clear, complete record of each lease, with the documents behind it, makes your history easier to understand.

Rental history in its real shape

Add as many leases as you need. Record the rent in the currency you paid and how often you actually paid it. If you paid a year upfront, it stays recorded as one annual payment.

  • Quarterly
